Its gameplay is comparable to that of its forebears; as the Blast Fighter, the player is tasked with shooting each of the Galaga aliens, which fly into formation from the highest sides of the playfield. After diving bombing towards the bottom of the screen, aliens will make an effort to attack the player to deal damage. An extraterrestrial or their missile will cause a person to lose their life, if they come in contact with it.
