Play the retro games Pac-Man (Midway) on your browser for free. The video game Pac-Man is an action maze chase in which the player guides the titular character through a constrained maze.

How to Play

Pac-Man must consume every dot in the maze while dodging four ghosts of different colors that are chasing him: Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (cyan), and Clyde (orange).

The player moves on to the next level when Pac-Man consumes all of the dots. Fruit icons at the bottom of the screen represent levels. There are brief sequences between each level that show Pac-Man and Blinky in amusing, funny circumstances.

Tips

Pac-Man will lose a life if he is grabbed by a ghost; the game is over when all lives have been lost. The artificial intelligence (A.I.) or "personality" of each of the four ghosts is distinctive. Pinky and Inky attempt to position themselves in front of Pac-Man, generally by surrounding him, while Blinky gives direct chase to the character. Clyde alternates between pursuing and eluding Pac-Man.
