X-Men vs Street Fighter (961004 Euro)

The fighting game X-Men vs Street Fighter (961004 Euro) pits characters from the Marvel Comics universe (in this case, the X-Men) against Capcom's own creations, the Street Fighter series' protagonists.

How to play

The three new characters are Rogue, Gambit, and Sabretooth. The X-Men characters are largely the same as in X-Men: Children of the Atom and Marvel Super Heroes. The Street Fighter cast is based on the Street Fighter Alpha 2 cast, although several of the characters' appearances and fighting techniques have been altered to better reflect the powers of the X-Men heroes.

One character will be controlled by players at a time while the other one waits off-screen. By pressing certain buttons, the starting character can tag someone who is waiting at any time; the card partner will charge in with an attack and taunt the foe. Resting allows the character to gradually regain their health. Depending on the order in which the buttons are pressed, the two partners can do "shift assaults."
