Tips and tricks The King of Fighters '99 - Millennium Battle (Korean release, non-encrypted program)

Play as Kyo Kusanagi or Iori Yagami, the "real" ones. To use Kyo or Iori, you need to see "KI" on the title screen.

1. You must use at least three of these characters in a team of four random characters to get "K": K, Maxima, Benimaru, Shingo, Whip, Kyo-1, or Kyo-2.
2. Choose four random characters from this list to get "I." At least three of them must be Leona, Athena, Bao, Xiangfei, Kasumi, Kim, or Jhun.
3. After that, you have to beat Kryzalid. A screen will then show you how to run the code.
4. To see the "real" Kyo Kusanagi, select the chance box. After that, hold down Start and hit Left, Right, Up, Left, Down, and Right. To make sure you entered the right code, Kyo's picture will appear instead of the sun icon.
5. To select Iori Yagami, click the roulette box and make it stand out. Then, hold down Start and press Right, Left, Up, Right, Down, and Left. To confirm that the right code was entered, Iori's picture will appear instead of the crescent moon icon.

Take on Kyo Kusanagi or Iori Yagami. To take on Kyo Kusanagi or Iori Yagami, you must: Pick one of seven full teams to battle the machine. Write down your battle ability after you beat the fifth step. Get rid of Krystalid. If your battle ability after 5 stages is between 200 and 280 points after beating the boss, Iori will show up. On the other hand, Kyo will show up if the battle ability is above 280 points.

• To see the character order, hold down the Start key while choosing the character's fight order.
• To choose a victory pose, press the Punch or Kick button right away after you win a match.
• (BUG) Power of "Ko'ou Ken": turn on Counter Mode and move to the other side of the screen when using Takuma. Send a weak (slow) Ko'ou Ken to your opponent now, and finish the move for the special attack. This is the first attack that will happen. Then Ko'ou Ken will hit the enemy in the middle of the attack. When the special attack finishes, the enemy is frozen, even if it is stunned.
• To see a special ending, finish the game with one of these events:

1.  Kyo Kusanagi against anyone but Iori Yagami.
2. Iori Yagami with someone other than Kyo Kusanagi.
