Halley Wars (USA, Europe)

A space shooting game with vertical scrolling is called Halley Wars. It was then converted to the Game Gear SEGA after being initially launched for the Famicom Disc System.
With the D-pad, the player controls a spaceship that may travel in any direction. The player is attacked by advancing enemy forces. The spacecraft has an infinitely long destructive beam that may be fired with a single bullet and retained for a fast fire. A multitude of power-ups can be found inside asteroids or satellites and are gathered by the player.
Through upgrade materials, the ray of devastation can be improved six times. They can also carry bombs that each fire a separate ray of destruction or explosives that each explode to eliminate all adversaries on the screen, excluding bosses.
The player's spacecraft will be destroyed if it is shot at by an enemy or collides with an enemy or object (such as an asteroid or debris), but a new one will spawn immediately if the player plays the other ships. The game begins with the player having two side ships. The game is over if a player loses a ship and there are no more available.
