Excitebike (Europe)

Excitebike (Europe) is a 1985 motocross racing game for the NES. Race on built-in tracks or even make your own.

Option A and Option B are the names of the game's two game types. While Option B pits the rider against the artificially intelligent competition, Option A is a solo race. To move on to the Excitebike championship race, you must finish third or higher in the preliminary race.
The bike is propelled forward by pressing button A, while the turbocharger is engaged by pressing button B. The turbocharger enhances bike speed but can also overheat the engine if used for an extended period of time, necessitating a cooldown. Driving between the arrows along the stroke will reset the engine temperature.
The directional pad can be used by players to switch lanes and adjust the rider's mid-air balance after jumping. If the rider lands unevenly, he or she will lose speed or hit something, but if they land perpendicularly on both wheels, they can keep going.
