There are different game modes, such as Snooker, 9 Ball, 8 Ball, and UK 8 Ball, and each has its own rules and tasks. There are also Matrix Mode, Time Trial Mode, and Practice Mode that you can use to get used to the game and improve your skills.
When you select a mode, the aim may differ. In 8-ball mode, for instance, you and your group (solids in stripes) have to pocket all of the cards before you can hit the black 8-ball to win. In 9-ball, the cue ball must hit the ball with the lowest number on the table first. You don't have to take home the ball to win; just make sure that your ninth ball goes in last.
There are no players or rules during practice mode, making it an excellent opportunity for warming up or develop your skills. In Time Trial manner, the goal are to get as many ball into the pit as possible within a set length of time.
