How to play

The player takes control of Buzz Lightyear in the home console- and computer versions of the game. To save Woody, Buzz Lightyear must traverse fifteen levels, ten of which are major levels and five of which are boss levels. These Levels are based on and inspired by locales from the film. The wristlaser that Buzz uses to attack foes may be charged up for more strength, and it can also be targeted from a first-person perspective.

Buzz can also use this laser to attack enemies. There is also a spin attack that Buzz may use, and it can be charged up into a continuous spin. Additionally, Buzz can make a double leap by extending his wings, and he may activate switches by stomping his feet. The player can acquire a laser power-up that provides Buzz with a limited supply of powered-up lasershootings, as well as more lives and batteries that recharge his health for future use.
