Terraria

Re-Logic created the action-adventure open-world game Terraria. In the 2D environment created for Terraria, players can explore, craft, build, and engage in combat with a variety of species. When Terraria was first released, it was generally well received, drawing similarities to Minecraft and receiving praise for its open-world features.

Three fundamental tools are given to the player at the beginning: a pickaxe for mining, an iron or copper sword for combat, and an ax for felling trees. While exploring caves, you can find many different materials, particularly ores.

Both the player's maximum health and mana points can be raised by locating life crystals or gathering stars to turn them into a blue star, which raises the maximum mana points by 20. Most resources and items that can only be found in certain parts of the map are hidden in common and uncommon chests or dropped by certain monsters.
