Spades

Spades is a card game, often known as a card or tile-based game, in which the gaming of a hand focuses on a finite number of turns or units of play, each of which is reviewed to determine the winner or the person who did the trick. Spades can be played using either playing cards or tiles.

Two or more people; typically, four people are paired off against one another.
A standard card deck consists of 52 cards. It is also possible to play spades with one or two jokers, as well as with cards that have been predetermined and then discarded.

When there are six or more people playing a game, the second deck is usually used.
