The prince can turn in all directions and control huge objects like blocks and machinery. His health and meter are in the top left corner. 

The Prince recovers by sipping pool and fountain water. 
The Prince's max strength is boosted by sand collection and secret support fountains. Throughout the game, the Prince is helped by Farah. By using AI, the archer turns the enemy, but she can also hit the Prince if he wanders into her flames. 
If she dies, the game ends.
