Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (World)

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (World) is the star of a side-scrolling action game that was released in 1990 for the Sega Genesis and Master System. Michael appears in Moonwalker, where he saves kids, becomes a cyborg, has a pet monkey named Bubbles, and engages in a magical battle dance.
You and two other buddies take on the role of Michael Jackson, dressed as the ego-altering "Smooth Criminal," whose goal is to save all the children taken hostage by Mr. Big Bad. You have to kill all the different enemies that come at you in waves while searching for stolen children who are spread across many levels.

You may occasionally receive health from saved children in the form of a health bar, which will decrease if an enemy touches you or shoots you. You have a finite number of smart bombs to aid you in your mission, which can be seen when MJ starts dancing with hordes of bad guys before they all perish when they are activated. Each level also has Bubbles the Chimp, which you can touch to change into a robot that can fire lasers.
