Baku Baku, released in Japan as Baku Baku Animal, is a falling block puzzle arcade game released by Sega in 1995.
In this game, the player has to stack the falling animal and food blocks. When an animal is placed adjacent to a tile of its favorite food, that animal will eat that food. Larger groups of foods that are connected will score higher when eaten.
When animals eat food, they also cause random blocks to drop in the opponent's area, right after the falling blocks. The object of the game is to make it impossible for the opponent to place more blocks.
